Character exploration · Finding Nemo Jr. throwback

If Berk had gone under the sea

Original stage-character costume studies imagining the HTTYD Jr. company cast in last year’s Finding Nemo Jr.

Costume type references

The same roles, translated into a different production’s color and movement language.

These studies retain a hint of Berk’s silhouette while borrowing ocean color, fin shapes and modular stagewear from a hypothetical Finding Nemo Jr. casting. The characters are original painted references, never student or actor likenesses.

Original painted reference characters for Hiccup, Astrid and Toothless wearing clownfish, blue-tang and sea-turtle inspired stage costumes.

Principal trio

Hiccup, Astrid & Toothless

Orange-and-white explorer panels, blue-tang layers and a charcoal sea-turtle cape reinterpret the three leads without copying any screen costume.

Original painted reference characters for Stoick, Gobber and Snotlout wearing clownfish traveler, reef guide and friendly shark inspired stage costumes.

Berk elders & rival

Stoick, Gobber & Snotlout

A structured clownfish coat, reef-school guide layers and a friendly shark silhouette keep their authority, warmth and swagger visible on stage.

Original painted Dragon Company reference characters in anemone, reef-fish, jellyfish and sea-turtle inspired ensemble costumes.

Dragon company · ensemble system

Reef, jellyfish & turtle families

A modular ensemble vocabulary for the dragon groups: soft fins, layered tentacles, kelp capes and repeating fabric panels that can scale to a large youth cast.
